Malaysia boasts a multiracial composition among it’s citizens. We are taught in school that there is no other country in the world that has a stable multiethnic society. Malaysia is the one and the only one. Other countries envied us and they intend to destroy the stability of our country. We were taught to compose essays that blame the West for every negative elements in our society; ranging from rape cases to the mentality of our youths. That’s right, blame the West! Point your fingers to them! The government is always right, anything that’s morally wrong, don’t blame us, blame the West!
Malaysia is not the only country which sustains a multiethnic composition. Canada, USA & Europe itself is a multiethnic region. Don’t believe me? Visit New York, Paris, Munich etc. So, yeah, we were brain-washed into believing that Malaysia is the only paradise on earth. This paradise must be maintained at any cost. Which means minorities must submit their rights to ensure stability in the country. The minorities should be thankful for the stability that they live in. The conclusion to this is that, if you are in hardship, it’s alright, Malaysia is better then any other countries. These sort of psychological electrodes have been implanted in us, especially to the minorities. Don’t question, be grateful! These were cleverly engineered by UMNO!
UMNO is a radical & a facist political party! Barisan National is a ship which UMNO rides on. The component parties in Barisan Nasional are just cosmetics to neutralize UMNO’s radical stance. During the pre-independence era, it was UMNO that rejected egalitarian identities and rights to all ethnics in Malaya. The British and presumably with the influence of UMNO, shut off leftists (AMCJA, PUTERA etc) as communists to safeguard their political and economical interests. Influences of leftists unto Malayan population was then annihilated. After independence, Barisan Nasional ideally followed this sort of ruling, anything that’s related to liberalism and leftism is deemed as communism and it’s doomed.
So does it all make sense, why the minorities were treated like shit? We were all living in peace, different ethnics during the pre-independence period. Then how did it all suddenly came up that stability between ethnics should be ensured? Simple, just round up a lil propaganda here and there. That’s what UMNO did. UMNO never wanted the minorities. UMNO never wanted the minorities to have citizenship to start it all over again. The leftists wanted egalitarian rights for all ethnics. It was within the government’s capacity to build up all communities, but they didn’t do that.
The National Economy Policy (NEP or DEB) was introduced with an ulterior agenda. The implementation of NEP had a psychological effect; it further strengthens the Malays that they are economically backward compared to all the ethnics in Malaysia. The NEP is a conspiracy! The NEP is engineered to control, pacify and win the support of the majority, the Malays! Without a stable support, Barisan National will not last long. How to be stable? Appease the majority & create ill feelings among ethnics; and UMNO/Barisan Nasional will continue ruling. The Chinese look up to MCA, Indians – MIC and Malays – UMNO. So we have a concept of rule and divide, like what the British had done! In mathematical terms, British = UMNO = BN!
NEP became a ‘ticket’ for Barisan National leaders to rape the resources of our land and manipulate the divide and rule concept. Traits of capitalists! The consequences of the divide and rule concept gave rise to cheap labour resources amongst Malaysians, with the Indians targeted the most. If the NEP was truly done to uplift the Malays (which it failed anyway); why can’t it be implemented for all ethnics in Malaysia? Won’t the Malays benefit from it since they form the majority of the Malaysians? This concept is similar to PKR/Anwar’s Malaysian Economic Agenda. He suggested an affirmative action based on need and not by ethnicity.
Since UMNO selectively helps a particular ethnic, by whatever reasons they gave, UMNO practices facism! UMNO promotes radical politics. UMNO divides Malaysians by ethnics. UMNO upholds ultra right-winged philosophies. UMNO spearheads capitalism. UMNO & BARISAN NASIONAL ARE THE ENEMIES OF ALL SOCIALISTS!
